Transition to school
The transition period is an important and exciting step in your child's educational journey.

St Aloysius welcomes new families on three occasions in the year prior to Foundation .  Firstly, at the enrolment interview, the family meets the principal and some of the staff as well as enjoys a tour of the school. Next the families are invited to a 90 minute familiarisation session where they have the opportunity to ask questions of the teachers and discuss organisational matters. Thirdly, the children attend a two hour session where they met their Grade 6 buddies, complete a fun activity, and receive a school bag and a hat which are gifts to the families from the school.  During Term One of Grade Prep, the students only attend school for four days to assist with their settling in.
